Programme

The scientific programme of the SSAI 2013 meeting will start on Monday 26 August at 10:30 and it will end on Thursday 29 August at 13:00 with the Prize Awarding Ceremony. The SSAI General Assembly will be on Tuesday 27 August at 17:15 and the General Assembly of the Finnish Society of Anaesthesiologists will be on Wednesday 28 August at 17:15.

The lecture programme will consist of a balanced mixture of symposia in anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain medicine and some general topics. The ACTA lecture is planned on Tuesday 27 August at 8:30, followed by plenary lectures on neuroscience.

There will be nine free poster presentation sessions, nine simulation sessions and hands-on sessions on seven different topics.
